It's a two-part area (roughly USDA zone 6a–6b): salt-exposed, sandier ground along the shore and good suburban loam inland. Our balanced bluegrass-fescue blend is the versatile default inland, with deep-rooted, salt-tolerant fescue for the coastal lots.
