Do you install sod across New York?
Yes — Scoped New York coverage: Westchester County and Long Island only. We do not install in NYC proper or upstate at this time. Lead time is typically 3–10 days from quote. Call (203) 806-4086 to scope your project.
What's your install minimum in New York?
Our typical install minimum is 1,200 sq ft. Smaller projects can usually be served with pallet-only delivery (600 sq ft minimum) for you or your landscaper to install.
What's included in a New York install vs. what a landscaper does?
We're sod specialists. We handle the sod-specific work: stripping old turf, topsoil, grading, sod delivery on the same day as install, and laying with tight seams. We don't handle hardscape, plantings, irrigation install, tree work, or ongoing maintenance. If your project needs those, hire a landscaper for the full job and we'll work as the sod sub.
How is install pricing calculated?
Install is quoted per project, not by a flat per-square-foot rate — access, prep needs, site grading, variety choice, and timing all affect the number. Call so we can walk through your site on the phone and give you a real number.
When's the best time to install sod in New York?
Spring (April–June) and early fall (mid-August–October) are the strongest windows. We install through the full season, but summer installs in July–August require more water during establishment and are typically scheduled around vacation plans.
Is CT Sod a sod installer or a sod supplier in New York?
Both. CT Sod cuts sod to order through Northeast farms and our own crews install it across New York. Pallet-only delivery is also available.
