Operational fit, not just pricing
Fresh-cut against your install date
Sod is cut against the delivery date you give us — not pulled off a yard pallet that’s been sitting for a week. For trade crews working in summer heat, the difference between Day-1 sod and Day-7 sod is the difference between a clean install and a callback.
Jobsite forklift placement, not a curb dump
Our trucks carry all-terrain forklifts. Pallets go where the crew needs them on the property — not stacked at the end of a driveway requiring a third trip with a skid steer. Saves an hour of labor per job, minimum.
Cultivar-level fluency, not “just green stuff”
Our KBG, Tall Fescue, RTF, and blend sod come from established Northeast and Mid-Atlantic sod growers running NTEP-evaluated proprietary cultivar blends. We can walk through species, cultivar mix, and performance expectations for the spec sheet. Exact blend composition shared on request per project.
Eight-state delivery footprint
Installation across CT, MA, RI, NY (Westchester), and NJ. Delivery extends to NH, VT, ME, and Long Island. If your firm runs jobs across multiple Northeast states, one supplier covers the whole map.
Sod-only install crews
When the GC wants us to install too, our crews work full-time on sod jobs — tighter seams, consistent grade, faster than a landscape generalist crew that lays sod twice a year. Or we deliver and your crew installs. Your call.
Predictable communication
One number, one decision-maker, one phone call for every change order. (203) 806-4086 reaches Sean directly. No portal logins, no chasing a regional rep across three branches.

How we work with crews on the ground
Project pricing. Negotiated per-job for larger contractor work — we’ll quote against actual square footage, variety, delivery sequencing, and your install window. Our published volume pricing is the homeowner starting point. Trade pricing on real volume is a conversation, not a published rate card.
Scheduled deliveries. If you have a standing weekly install schedule, we can lock recurring delivery dates so your crew is never waiting on sod. Multi-job staging across a week works too — one truck, three drops, one logistics call.
Established account terms. After a few clean jobs together, established contractor accounts can request payment terms beyond pay-on-delivery. Case-by-case — ask Sean directly.
Palette splits. Need 6 pallets of KBG and 2 pallets of Tall Fescue blend on the same truck for a variety-zoned property? Standard. Note the split on the order.
Spot work and urgents. Fairway divot replacement, callback patches, single-pallet emergency drops — we run same-week when we can, often next-day in season.

Spec resources & variety guidance
Variety specifications. Our sod comes from established Northeast and Mid-Atlantic growers producing NTEP-evaluated cultivar blends. Each variety has a defined species composition and a proprietary cultivar mix selected by the grower for Northeast performance. Project-specific cultivar lists are shared on request for spec documentation — call (203) 806-4086 and we’ll pull the current blend composition for the variety and farm you’re specifying.
Variety zoning across a single property. Most premium residential and estate work benefits from variety zoning — KBG on showcase entertainment lawns with reliable irrigation, KBG/TF blends for the broader lawn footprint, fine fescue specifications at woodland edges and shaded transitions. We support multi-variety palette splits on a single delivery, matched to the site plan. See the full approach in our Everything Sod Blog regional guides.
Climate-zone variety reference. Variety performance varies materially by hardiness zone, salt exposure, soil composition, and shade. The blog covers Northeast regional variety selection in depth — from coastal CT/RI through inland Fairfield County, the Hudson Valley, Cape Cod, the Maine coast, and the New Hampshire seacoast. Useful starting points for spec narratives.
Quoting at the bid stage. Send us the spec, the site square footage by zone, and the install window. We’ll return a project quote with variety, delivery sequencing, and installation pricing (if you want us to install) within a business day.
