Yes — edges are where a careful crew shows. The old turf gets cut cleanly along beds and walks, new rolls are trimmed to the same lines, and staging stays on the driveway rather than the plantings. A front-yard strip-and-relay in an established Hingham or Norwell neighborhood is typically a one-day job that leaves the beds untouched.
Is spring or fall better for an install down here?
Both work, and fall is the quiet favorite on the coast: the soil is still warm, the rain comes back, and the lawn roots in with the whole next spring ahead of it. Spring installs are just as sound with watering discipline through the first summer. The honest answer is that the best season is the one when the prep gets done right.
