The Large-Project Playbook
Ten thousand square feet is where a sod job stops being a weekend project and becomes a logistics operation — multiple truckloads of a perishable crop that has to go down the day it's cut. Here's how we run a job that size in New Milford, step by step:

New Milford Ground
New Milford is Connecticut's largest town by area, and the properties we sod here run the full range. Along the Route 7 corridor it's commercial frontage and subdivision lawns on the valley floor — bigger, flatter, and quick for trucks to reach. Around the green and the older in-town streets the lots are tighter and shaded by mature trees, and the work is as much about protecting what's there as laying new turf.
Then there's the ground that makes New Milford what it is: the Candlewood Lake side, where a lake-house lawn has to look right from the water; the hill roads through Northville and Merryall, where estates and horse properties sit back long gravel drives; and the working acreage out toward Gaylordsville. Farm-Cut Varieties
Everything we install is cut to order at the farm the morning of your install — never pulled off a stockpile. For New Milford, the choice usually comes down to three directions.
