Ocean County runs from the barrier islands — Long Beach Island, Seaside, Point Pleasant, Bay Head, Mantoloking, Lavallette — across the bay to the mainland and into the Pinelands. It's the sandiest ground we serve: the islands are pure beach sand exposed to ocean salt, and the inland Pine Barrens are sandy and naturally acidic. The climate is mild (roughly USDA zone 7a–7b), but that sand drains almost instantly, so we lead with deep-rooted, salt-tolerant tall fescue and blends laid over a generous fresh topsoil base that holds water and nutrients.
The shore is a summer market of beach houses and rentals, so we plan installs around seasonal turnover, and new sod gets deep, consistent early watering to beat the fast-draining sand.
