CT Sod delivers and installs sod across Northern Westchester, backed by 30 years of sod industry experience. Pallets are cut to order at the farm the morning of your install, hauled in past stone-pillar gates and down long gravel drives by all-terrain forklift, and laid by crews whose only job is sod — not general landscaping.
Install day in Bedford has a rhythm. After the written quote is approved and the date is set, your sod is cut at the farm that morning and on the truck the same day — no pallet sits waiting. At the property, the all-terrain forklift takes the pallets past the stone-pillar gate and down the long gravel drive to where the crew is staging, so nothing gets carried by hand across a finished lawn. A sod-only crew lays it in sections while it is still fresh, trims tight to the beds, and rolls the seams. On the open multi-acre lots out toward the reservoir we stage in stages to keep every roll fresh, then hand you the watering plan so the first soak goes down the same day.
Your sod is cut at the farm the morning of installation — never stockpiled. Fresh sod establishes faster and handles transplant stress more reliably than sod that's been sitting on a pallet.
Bedford Village, Bedford Hills, Katonah, the John Jay Homestead corridor, the Cross River Reservoir estates, the Caramoor area, and the wooded estate lots toward Ward Pound Ridge — we install across all of it and know the gated access, shared private roads, and multi-acre logistics before we get there.
Bedford's estate lots run long — stone-pillar gates, gravel drives stretching well back from the road, private lanes shared with neighboring properties. Our forklifts get pallets past the gate and down the drive to where the crew is laying, not stranded at the road.
Choose install-only if you (or your landscaper) handle the prep, or full-service turnkey including old-lawn removal, grading, and fresh topsoil. Both are available across Bedford and Westchester County.
Every install is scoped per project — square footage, access, shade-vs-sun variety call, prep needs, gate coordination. You get a written quote with the work and inclusions spelled out before crews are scheduled.
Bedford is a 20-minute run from our Fairfield County backcountry installs. The crews on a Round Hill estate Tuesday are on a Bedford estate Wednesday — same fresh-cut product, same install standard, same accountability on properties where the lawn is the architecture.
