CT Sod delivers and installs sod across Northern Westchester, backed by 30 years of sod industry experience. Pallets are cut to order at the farm the morning of your install, hauled up long gravel estate drives by all-terrain forklift, and laid by crews whose only job is sod — not general landscaping.
Your sod is cut at the farm the morning of installation — never stockpiled. Fresh sod establishes faster and handles transplant stress more reliably than sod that's been sitting on a pallet for days.
Armonk Village, Whippoorwill, Windmill Farm, Banksville, North White Plains, the Wampus Pond corridor, and the wooded estate lots along Byram Lake and the Connecticut border — we install across all of it and know the long gravel-drive access, ledge-influenced grading, and canopy-shade variety calls before we get there.
Out on the multi-acre Whippoorwill and Byram Lake lots the driveway alone can run a quarter-mile of gravel on a grade, with a gate at the road — far more than a standard delivery truck can manage to the work site. Our forklifts climb the drive and place pallets up at the house where the crew is laying, not abandoned at the gate.
Choose install-only if you (or your landscaper) handle the prep, or full-service turnkey including old-lawn removal, grading, and fresh topsoil. Both are available across Armonk and Westchester County.
Every install is scoped per project — square footage, drive length and grade, gated access, shade-vs-sun variety call, prep needs. You get a written quote with the work and inclusions spelled out before crews are scheduled.
Armonk runs right up to the Connecticut border at Banksville, minutes from our Fairfield County base. The crews installing in Whippoorwill on Tuesday are the same crews installing in Greenwich and New Canaan on Wednesday — same fresh-cut product, same install standard.
