Our typical install minimum is 1,000 sq ft. Smaller projects can usually be served with pallet-only delivery (600 sq ft minimum at $699) for you or your landscaper to install.

We're sod specialists, not full-service landscapers. We handle the sod-specific work: stripping old turf, topsoil, grading, sod delivery on the same day as install, and laying with tight seams by crews that do this every day. We don't handle hardscape, plantings, irrigation install, tree work, or ongoing maintenance. If your project needs those, hire a landscaper for the full job and we'll work as the sod sub — many landscapers across The Berkshires already do this with us.

For full-sun, irrigated lawns, Kentucky bluegrass gives the traditional refined look. For partial shade or drought tolerance, Black Beauty tall fescue. For dogs and active families, RTF (rhizomatous tall fescue). We'll match the variety to your specific site during the quote.

Light foot traffic is fine after the first week. Heavy use (parties, kids' games, dog play) should wait 2–3 weeks while the sod roots into the soil. We leave a one-page care sheet with the install covering watering, first-mow timing, and the first month's protocol.
