Underneath, heavy Piedmont clay compacts easily and can hold water in low spots, so a lasting lawn starts with drainage, finished grade, and a sod variety chosen for the actual sun across the yard.
CT Sod installs fresh farm-cut sod across South Orange with either install-only or full-service scopes. Install-only works when your landscaper has already stripped, amended, graded, and rolled the site. Full-service keeps old-lawn removal, topsoil, grading, and installation under one written scope.
