Thank You, CT Sod

I don't usually write things like this, but I felt like I should share my experience with CT Sod because they really helped me out.

This was the first time I've ever installed sod. I had a backyard that was basically dirt with patches of weeds, and I wanted it to finally look like a proper lawn. The problem was, I had no idea what I was doing.

When I called CT Sod, they didn't make me feel dumb for asking basic questions. They walked me through exactly how much sod I would need, what type of grass made sense for my yard in Chappaqua, and how to prepare for delivery day. Having that kind of guidance up front took away a lot of the stress.

Delivery day went smoothly. The driver showed up right on time and even gave me some quick tips before he left, like making sure the seams were tight and starting with a straight edge. That advice came in handy once I started rolling it out.

I'll admit, the first few rolls didn't look great. They were crooked, and I had little gaps here and there. But once I got the hang of it, it became easier. By the end of the day, my whole yard was covered in fresh green sod.

The biggest surprise for me was how important watering is. I thought a quick spray would do it, but CT Sod had explained I'd need to water deeply and regularly for the first couple of weeks. Once I stuck to that, the sod started rooting fast and the color stayed healthy.

Now, instead of a yard that looked abandoned, I've got a lawn I'm actually proud of. My kids play on it, my neighbors compliment it, and honestly, it feels good knowing I did it myself — with a lot of help and advice from CT Sod.
