Why it exists

Most bags on the garden-center shelf are labeled "for seed and sod" — but seed and sod are not the same problem. Seed starts from bare ground and has to build roots from scratch. Sod arrives with a mature root system already grown on the farm; its job in the first few weeks is to *bridge* those roots down into your soil. That contact zone — the few inches of earth directly under the turf — is exactly where most starter products were never designed to work. UNDER SOD™ is built for it.

What it is

UNDER SOD™ is a biological 4-4-4 starter fertilizer: a moderate, balanced nutrient charge plus the soil biology young roots actually use.

• 1.75% mycorrhizal inoculant to help extend a young root system's reach
• 2% seaweed extract (Ascophyllum nodosum)
• 6% humic acid

It is applied to the prepared, graded soil and raked into the top 2–4 inches *before* the sod is laid, so freshly cut roots make immediate contact with nutrients and biology on day one. There is no burn risk when used as directed.

Dead-simple to apply

No measuring, no math: one 25-lb bag covers a 500 sq ft pallet of sod. Ordering four pallets? Use four bags. That is the whole calculation.
