Project update — September 25, 2026. The sod installation is finished. Photos below document the customer's prepared site, the installation in progress, and the lawn after the sod went down.

This 2,500-square-foot Norwalk, Connecticut job had a clear division of work: the customer prepared the site, and CT Sod installed the sod. Our crew was delayed three hours in I-95 south traffic in Fairfield and arrived at 3 p.m. The installation went ahead after arrival; finished-lawn photos are now in hand.

Installation in Progress — September 25

After the 3 p.m. arrival, sod went down along the retaining walls and near edge. The original job-site photo shows the center still bare with a wheelbarrow standing in the work area. This was an intermediate stage, not the finished lawn.

“If you are looking for sod in the New England area this is the place to go. My son and his family recently moved to Claremont NH and needed sod. Due to his busy schedule and being new to the area and not being able to find a local installer I planned a trip from NC to install it for him. The ordering process was easy and I believe Kayla was helpful on the phone explaining different grass options and what would work best for the area. She scheduled the sod delivery about a month out for me which allowed me to time plan my short weekend trip. On delivery day things did not go as planned due to situations beyond CT Sod’s control. I was updated by Sean throughout the day regarding the issues and his plans to make it happen. Unfortunately it did not. Sean promised to make it right and realized I had a made a special trip up for the install. I did not get to install sod that weekend but Sean and CT Sod went above and beyond to make the issue right.
